We live in Charlotte but anytime my husband's work takes him remotely close to here, he knows I want that Blueberry Bread Pudding brought home

We eat at Nantucket Grill 2-3 times a month. The fried shrimp, scallops and cod are excellent. You cannot go wrong trying any of the three. Fridays are extra good and tasty I order the 2 lobster tail chef special. Nantucket Grill has a pretty good cocktail menu and beer menu. I am not a beer drinker so my preference would not mean much to a serious beer drinker. Always worthwhile to try the cocktail if the day.

Overall Experience: I recently visited Nantucket Grill and had a good experience. Service: The service was good. Our waitress was very nice. She gave us her recommendations and even gave us extra time to figure what we wanted from the menu. Food: Crab dip: 9/10 I really enjoyed the crab dip! It was tasty and I loved that it was served with pita bread. Baked Stuffed Shrimp: 8/10 I enjoyed this dish. I never had stuffed shrimp before but I was pleasantly surprised. The portion was great. I think the dish could have used a little extra seasoning but otherwise it was really yummy! Atmosphere: The atmosphere was nice. It was a family friendly environment. Price: The prices were reasonable for the quality and experience. I would definitely go back! It seems very consistent like one of those restaurants that never fail you !

Nantucket was grill was yummy! I loved my baked scallops and crab dish. It was rich, delicious and well made. The service was pretty good here too. My chocolate cake looked better than it tasted but I've heard other flavors are fantastic. I would definitely come back

I love love love the lobster tail, special with the sautéed spinach. This is also one of the fews restaurants with a bar that has rums other than Bardi.

Sorry, not sorry, but I have to bring my review back up to 5 stars. Ever since I started doing pick up and adding extra cranberry, my experience went back to 5 stars lol. I wish they would add more to the actual cranberry bog sandwich, but it is easily remedied by adding cranberry to the order. Service remains top notch! I have no idea how the staff always remain so nice when the place is always packed!! But service definitely rocks.

Summary: reliable eatery with over-the-top desserts and a nice outdoor seating area Details: If this seems like a New England style restaurant, it should -- that's what the owners are going for. Clam chowdah, lobstah rolls, and strip steaks are all on the menu. Summary of 4 or 5 visits: Bacon Cheeseburger: comes with jack and decent amount of bacon. We've had it both with fries and apple coleslaw. Both are quite good -- maybe a tad too much mayo in the slaw. If you're gf, you can order it bunless. Steak Burger: Grilled pieces of marinated steak, mushrooms, onions and melted pepper jack on ciabatta. Didn't work for me. Meat was a little too chewy and the bun tasted a little stale. The only thing I've ever ordered that I didn't like. Blackened Salmon Salad: a solid choice with a large salad and a generous amount of salmon. No skimping on the ingredients. BBQ Chicken Sandwich: eh. It's fine. Not great but not bad. Grilled Salmon: comes with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and asparagus. Default version is grilled but they will give a blackened version if you ask. Always been nicely cooked, not overdone and not too rare. There's a full bar with a decent selection of draft beers. The wait staff have always been helpful and patient when one diner isn't sure what to order. One word review: reliable

Good place to grab food, drink, and of course their famous CAKES! Most recently I visited with my mother for an early dinner. This location is situated in a shopping center with other businesses. There is parking all throughout the area. We were sat and greeted quickly. My mom ordered the full rack of ribs with a baked sweet potato and I ordered the Seafood Scallop Kabob. Both were very good! I'm not a big fan of ribs, but I did try one of my mom's and it was tender and flavorful. My scallops were delicious! They were cooked perfectly! It's hard to get scallops just right because they can easily burn or become rubbery, but these were so tender and well-cooked. They were also some of the biggest scallops I've seen. Although I did not get a slice of cake this visit, I have had their cakes and this is what Nantucket is known for...and for good reason. When you walk in the baked goods are on display and very tempting. You can also order speciality cakes as well. I recommend coming here if you're in the area. There's also a location in Raleigh and Chapel Hill as well. Make sure to leave room for cake or get a slice to go!
